The delegation of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine participated in a condolence Council organized by a gathering of followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and their lovers in the Nigerian state of Kaduna.
The delegation included the coordinators of the African Studies Center in Nigeria of the Department, Sheikh Shamsuddin Abdullah and Sheikh Ibrahim Musa.
Shamsuddin said that"the condolence Council dealt with the biography of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), his jihad, courage and heroism, for the support of his brother Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn and the people of his house (peace be upon them) until his martyrdom in the tragedy of at-Taf that affected the believers and humanity".
"The council witnessed the presence of a large gathering of believers from the lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in Kaduna State to benefit from the council, on the religious, ideological, moral and intellectual awareness,"he added.
The Center for African Studies is working on organizing mourning councils in various African countries to spread the grievances of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), revive the hussayni rituals on the African continent, as well as building bridges of communication with religious, intellectual and scientific institutions and various segments of society.
