With the participation of people of different denominations, the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine holds representative scenes of the tragedy of at-Taf in Nineveh

The Department of Religious Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held representative scenes in Nineveh governorate to embody the painful incident of at-Taf in commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam al-Hussayn and his family (peace be upon them) and his companions, with the participation of people of various sects and religions.

The official of the guidance and moral support division of the Department, Sheikh Haider al-Aredi, said that "the Department presented representative scenes of the painful incident of at-Taf; in commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam al-Hussayn and his family (peace be upon them) and his companions in Ashura, in a number of areas of the province; in order to convey the oppression of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) to the whole world".

He added that the acting scenes were held in al-Qubbah, Sheikhan and Sinjar with the great participation of the people, pointing out that the acting scenes located in the Sinjar region were marked by the issuance of invitation cards to the children of other sects and religions".

The Sinjar district witnessed a large number of members of the Yazidi community flocking to attend the acting scenes, according to Sheikh al-Aredi.
