The Scientific Complex commemorates the seventh day of the martyrdom of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in the Al-Alqami Complex

The Scientific Complex of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine commemorated the seventh day of the martyrdom of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) with a condolence Council at the Al-Alqami visitors' complex.

The council was supervised by the Holy Quran Institute of the complex.

The council will be held for the second year in a row in the presence of the chairman of the scientific complex; Dr. Mushtaq al-Ali, the director of the Institute; Sheikh Jawad al-Nasrawi, and a number of professors, students and employees of the Institute.

The Institute's Information Officer; Mr. Mustafa Ghazi al-Daami, said that"the scientific complex is keen to revive the occasions of Ahl al-Bayt(peace be upon them) by establishing Quranic intellectual councils that provide a flood of knowledge to those present from lessons that would benefit them and connect them with the honorable two weights (the Holy Quran and the Ahl al-Bayt -peace be upon them-)".

He added,"the council began with a beautiful recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a religious lecture delivered by one of the venerable sheikhs, during which he presented a set of Quranic knowledge and values, and recalled the misfortune of the master of martyrs Imam al-Hussayn(peace be upon him) in the painful incident of at-Taf.

The council concluded with the reading of painful elegies and laments that left great sadness, amid an atmosphere of sadness of those present.
