The Department of Intellectual Affairs receives a delegation of South African preachers

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, represented by the Center for African Studies, received a delegation from the preachers of the state of South Africa to discuss joint cooperation.

The director of the Center, Sheikh Saad al-Shammari, said,"today we received both Sheikh Masoud Mustafa, Dr. Maytham Taqawi and Dr Afdhal Taqawi and their accompanying delegation from the state of South Africa to discuss joint cooperation and the implementation of the Center's religious, intellectual and humanitarian programs in the capital, Johannesburg".

He added that " the Center for African Studies is exerting great efforts on the African continent in various intellectual, ideological and humanitarian fields, including the project of "Saqi Atasha Karbala", which provided dozens of wells in thirteen countries, in addition to cooperation with scientific, academic, social and religious institutions in the implementation of many joint programs."

For his part, the delegation expressed its gratitude and thanks for all the great efforts exerted by the Center on the African continent, and its care for the African communities in Iraq, stressing its keenness on joint cooperation with the Center to implement programs in various fields in the cities of South Africa.
