Intellectual Affairs Department discusses ways of joint cooperation with the delegation of the Bayinah Center for Intellectual Security

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, represented by the Iraqi Center for documenting extremist crimes, discussed with the delegation of the Bayinah Center for intellectual and cultural security at the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Shrine, ways of joint cooperation and exchange of information and experiences in combating extremism.

The delegation of the Bayinah Center, headed by Sheikh Ali al-Qarawi, was received by the director of the Iraqi Center, Dr. Abbas al-Quraishi, and during the meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two centers, to achieve common goals, the most important of which is reducing extremism and terrorism and documenting their crimes, and the meeting witnessed the exchange of a number of issues related to the two centers.

Dr. al-Quraishi expressed his thanks to the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine for this important visit, pointing out that this step reflects the commitment of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) shrine to the importance of playing an active role in combating extremism and spreading the message of peace and tolerance.

For his part, Sheikh Ali al-Qarawi stressed the support of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Shrine for the efforts of the Iraqi Center for documenting extremist crimes, pointing to the importance of strengthening joint cooperation and intensifying efforts to combat the phenomenon of extremism that threatens the security and stability of the region.

The Iraqi Center for documenting extremism crimes collects and documents data and information related to extremism and terrorism crimes, in addition to providing a comprehensive database that contributes to identifying the causes of the spread of extremism and effectively combating it.
