The staff of the Department of between the two Shrines reap Palm dates between the two holy shrines

The staff of the Department between the Two Holy Shrines in the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine began harvesting palm dates planted between the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them).

The official of the afforestation and decoration unit of the Department said that "our staff has started harvesting palm dates located in the central square to distribute them to visitors to the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them)".

He added that"the number of palm trees between the two Shrines is (56) palms relative to the age of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and their dates are produced annually for those who intended for the Master of martyrs and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) for blessings".

The Department between the two Shrines works continuously to maintain and care for the trees in the holy area, especially palm trees and harvest their fruits during the summer season.
