The Supreme Religious Authority calls the formed government for the restoration of all the cracks that have occurred in the past years and calls for retribution from those involved in the massacre of Speicher and emphasizes to find solutions to the problem of the ration card..

The Supreme Religious Authority welcomed the formation of the government in the constitutional period despite the observations about it, hoping that it will achieve the desired objectives awaited by the decent people of this country, by being at the level of their confidence and fulfilling all commitments it has made in the service of this people, by the restoration of all the cracks that have occurred in the past years between the various parties and giving them all their rights. Also, the Kurdistan Regional Government is invited to the consolidation of the central government, avoiding all problems to keep Iraq unified and strong.

It called also for the retribution from those involved in the massacre of Speicher in a fair way, especially that there are reports stating that there are some detainees of the soldiers in some areas, which doubles the responsibility of the official bodies to get to the truth, either for the detained or for the martyrs' bodies.

Stressing on finding solutions to the problem of the ration card as it affects the economic conditions of the people directly, emphasizing on providing it in good quality and acceptable quantity, which is the responsibility of the state, especially that the previous attempts were not serious in solving this problematic because of the surrounding financial and administrative corruption that caused significant damage to the citizens.

This came in the second Friday sermon of the 16th Dhu Al-Qi'dah 1435, corresponding to the 12th September, 2014 in the holy courtyard of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), which was led by Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi.
