Department of Religious Affairs: various activities provided by our staff during the month of Muharram inside and outside Iraq

The head of the Religious Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine confirmed that the Department's staff provides various activities during the month of Muharram inside and outside Iraq.

The head of the Department, Sheikh Salah al-Karbalai, said that "the department has prepared an integrated program that began to be implemented since the ceremonies of replacing the banner of the holy month of Muharram, which included holding Husseini councils in the Holy Sanctuary, in addition to organizing condolence councils in many provinces by sending preachers to them, as well as sending some preachers to the state of Kuwait".

He added,"the staff of the department inspects the Husseini processions inside Karbala governorate, provides advice and guidance, in addition to providing the requirements that befit the numbers of visitors to this holy place during the current days, and in preparation for the milions visitors Ziyarat Arba'een".

The staff of the department is responsible for organizing the prayers of the congregation in the holy courtyard, as well as answering religious questions and religious questions, according to Karbalai.
