Al-Wafi Foundation discusses the mechanism of joint cooperation with the military Defense University

The Department of the al-Wafi foundation for documentation and studies at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine discussed the mechanism of joint cooperation with the Defense Military University.

"The visit comes to strengthen the ties of cooperation between the Defense Military University and the institution, to upgrade the joint scientific and academic reality, enhance the documentary role of both sides, and achieve scientific openness and knowledge exchange in multiple fields,"said Ahmad Sadeq, head of the Department of al-Wafi Foundation.

"During the visit, the delegation discussed the mechanisms of documentary work and the results that are still being completed, and the ones adopted by the parties and how to develop and market them to benefit from them,"he added.

"The delegation conducted a tour of the most important intellectual parts of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, including the Central Library, the museum and the hospital of documents and books, which deals with the processing and preservation of ancient documents,"he added.

At the end of the visit, the head of the foundation's Department; Mr. Ahmad Sadeq, presented an honorary shield to the head of the delegation, naval Major General Abbas Laftah 'Awdah, as an expression of thanks and gratitude for this visit, according to Sadeq.

The head of the Department of the al-Wafi Foundation pointed out that"the Defense University for military studies of the Iraqi Ministry of defense, has signed earlier a memorandum of cooperation with the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, represented by the Department of the al-Wafi foundation for documentation and studies".
