The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine holds its annual condolence Council in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him)

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held its annual condolence Council in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali ibn al-Hussayn as-Sajjad (peace be upon him), in the Hall of honors.

The preacher Sheikh Ali Abu al-Hawatem al-Ta'i said that "the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine has a long history of establishing Husseini councils and recalling the misfortunes of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), including the Council of today on which we recall the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him)".

"We touched upon two important topics in the council, in which we highlighted the worship of Imam Zayn al-Abideen (peace be upon him) and his biography, and his role in showing the oppression on the at-Taf tragedy, in the presence of a few believers,"he added.

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, with its annual mourning councils, has always revived the sorrows of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), including this sad occasion, with the participation of a number of its staffs and crowds of visitors.
