Al-Kafeel University organizes its annual condolence Council on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him)

Al-Kafeel university, affiliated to the Higher Education Authority at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, organized its annual condolence Council in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Zayn al-Abideen (peace be upon him).

The mourning Council began with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the reader; Sayed Dhu al-Fiqar al-Sa'bari, then the Husseini orator Sheikh Hafedh al-Dujaili ascended the pulpit and discussed in his sermon the biography and life of Imam Ali Ibn al-Hussayn as-Sajjad (peace be upon him) and his role in the at-Taf tragedy.

The lecture touched upon the renaissance that Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him) brought about in the reality of Islam and Muslims after the martyrdom of his father (peace be upon him) through the establishment of the school of Imam al-Baqer and as-Sadeq (peace be upon them), in addition to confronting moral and social deviations and the Umayyad project that threatens the existence of the holy Islam.

The council concluded by reciting poems and lamentations about Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him), the tragedy of at-Taf and what passed over the family of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) after the martyrdom of Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and his brothers and companions.

The council was attended by the president of the University, Dr. Nawras Shahid al-Dahan, the assistant to the president of the University for Scientific Affairs; Assistant Professor Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, and the deans of the faculties, heads of departments and their associates, in an atmosphere of sadness.
