Among (800) works of art.. A photographer at the Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine wins first place in an international competition

The photographer of the Media Department of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Samer al-Husseini, won the first place in the competition of the fifth Arbaeen art festival organized by the Mutaqeen mosque in Iran, out of (800) works of art.

Al-Husseini said that the festival, in its fifth edition, witnessed artistic participation from (10) countries, namely Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Lebanon, Pakistan, India, Russia and Nigeria, with more than (800) artistic works, the details of which revolved around the Ziyarat Arba'een, the movement of visitors and procession services.

Al-Husseini added that he won the first place in the competition after displaying a photo of the Arba'een walk in Dhi Qar governorate as they headed on foot towards the holy city of Karbala, and the three places after the first place went to Iraqi Photographers from Basra and Dhi Qar governorates, and the fifth place went to a photographer from the kingdom of Bahrain.

He explained that the advanced positions he achieved in many local, Arab and international competitions came after the great support provided by the general secretariat of the holy shrine, pointing out that he has participated in new competitions which results have not yet been announced.
