The flags of Imam al-Hussayn and Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) were raised on the highest point in Tehran

The flags of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon them) were raised on the al-Milad Tower with a height of 420 meters, which is considered the highest point in the Iranian capital Tehran.

Talal al-Bir, the head of the Supreme advisory body of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, said that "the flags of Imam al-Hussayn and Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) in addition to the flags of the holy shrines of Imam Ali, Imam al-Kadhem and Imam al-Jawad, Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-Askari, Lady Zaynab and Imam ar-Redha (peace be upon them) were raised on Tuesday in Tehran and on the al-Milad Tower with a height of 420 meters, ".

"This came after that the Supreme Committee of the Arba'een of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine presented an invitation to the municipality of Tehran, to attend the ceremonies of raising the flags of the Holy Shrines at the highest point in Iran, and this event is held at the approach of the Arba'een of the martyrdom of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him),"he added.

"The delegation of the holy shrine, which I had the honor to head, consisted of Sayed Hashim al-Milani, a member of the Sayed Servants' Division and another member from the Public Relations Department, attended the ceremonies with the delegations of the other holy shrines," al-Bir said.
