The Al-Abbas's (P) Squad held its tenth annual conference, for its plan to secure the Ziyarat Arba'een Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) for the year 1445 AH.
The Squad leader; Sayed Maytham al-Zaidi, said that "the squad held today in the Hall of Imam al-Hassan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) at the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, its tenth annual conference to discuss and announce recommendations for the service of the visitors, in order to start implementing them".
He added that "the security aspect this year will include the involvement of ten thousand elements in the squad's plan, in addition to securing the three axes for the influx of visitors, the northern one towards Baghdad, the eastern one towards Babylon and the southern one towards Najaf, as well as the inner southern axis (the third ring) in the city center".
According to the Squad leader, "the service sector will be wider this year than in previous years, as the Squad opened service processions at the border crossings named Dar Al-Kafeel for the hospitality of visitors, in coordination with the authority of the border crossings, and these processions will be spread over the six ports (Shalamjeh in Basra, Zerbatya in Wasit, al-Shibh in Maysan, in addition to the ports of Mandhriya and Mandli in Diyala, and Arar in Ramadi)".
