The Department of Intellectual Affairs publishes a new book on the genocide of Shiites in the world

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has recently published a book (the genocides of Shiites in the world).

The publication of the book was supervised by the Iraqi Center for the documentation of extremist crimes of the Department, authored by Alawite researcher Amal al-Hakim, daughter of professor at the Hawza in Najaf; Mr. Riad al-Hakim, son of the religious authority Mohammed Said al-Hakim".

The book included documenting the genocides that the Shiites were subjected to in the world, and the resulting murders, torture and displacement against the lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

Regarding the importance of the book, Dr. Abbas al-Quraishi, director of the Iraqi Center for the documentation of extremist crimes, said that "what distinguishes the book is that it highlights the major crimes committed against a Muslim community, solely because it follows the people of the House of the messenger of Allah (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household)".

He added that"the Iraqi Center for documenting crimes of extremism included in the book a large collection of photos and documents, which support the facts of the genocides suffered by Shiites in the world".

The book is the first of its kind in documenting the genocides against the Shiites in the world, and it came in four chapters through which the researcher documented the mass exterminations and gross violations of human rights suffered by the Shiites in the world, as it included in its first chapters the origins and motives for the occurrence of genocides.

His last chapters included a review of the incidents of genocide of Shiites in the world, especially in Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen, with photos and documents documenting these genocides.
