The Ritual Department starts issuing legal guarantees for the processions participating in the Ziyarat Arba'een

The Department of Hussayni Rituals, Processions and Bodies in Iraq and the Islamic world, affiliated with the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon him), has begun issuing legal guarantees for the mourning processions and services participating in the Ziyarat Arba'een.

This comes in cooperation with the police command of the Holy province of Karbala and the regiment for the protection of the Two Holy Shrines.

The head of the Department; Sayed Aqeel al-Yasiri, said that "these measures concern the processions of condolence and service, which will participate during the days of the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), represented by the processions of the people of the city of Karbala and the Iraqi provinces, or from Arab and foreign countries wishing to provide condolences and service on this great occasion".

He added," at the forefront of the measures taken at the approach of the Ziyarat Arba'een is the issuance of identities and legal guarantees to the owners of the processions, in cooperation with the leadership of the Karbala police and the protection Regiment of the Two Holy Shrines, "noting that"this work is one of the most important legal and organizational procedures for the work of the processions during the Ziyarat Arba'een, to ensure the organization and coordination of its work and maintain its public contexts."

Regarding the mechanism of issuing guarantees, al-Yasiri said that the application is by sending permits to the Karbala Police Command, certifying them and then checking them with the legal authority, after which the approval for the entry of the convoy is issued by the protection Regiment of the Two Holy Shrines so that there is an introduction to these processions.
