The Supreme Religious Authority: The international assistance to fight ISIS (Da'esh) should not be a prejudice to destabilize the independence of the political and military decision of the Iraqi leaders..

The Supreme Religious Authority stressed on the political leaders in Iraq to be at the level of vigilance and awareness, lest that the external assistance to fight ISIS, be a gateway to undermine the independence of the political and military decision of the Iraqi leaders, stressing that the need for international cooperation to fight ISIS does not mean the inability of the citizens and the armed forces of Iraq in the confrontation of this terrorist organization.

The Religious Authority also pointed out that the military effort even if it is influential in reducing the phenomenon of terrorism, but alone is not enough to eliminate it. Therefore, it is urgent to address the root causes for the emergence of this phenomenon that has exacerbated in several countries, with the possibility of its extension to other countries. It also demanded the Iraqi security forces and army aviation to expedite the support and defence of the city of Dulu'iyah, in order to lift the siege imposed on it, before it is too late, like what happened in other cities.
