The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launches and sponsors a security and service initiative for the steadfast city of Amerly..

In order to pursue its support for the steadfast city of Amerly, the Secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has launched on Sunday the 25th of Dhu Al-Qi'dah, 1435 corresponding to the 21st of September 2014 a security and service initiative for this brave city, which has shown the finest images of courage and challenge in its fight against the invaders, killers, terrorists and enemies of religion and humanity, who tried to infiltrate this city's walls, upon which all their demonic plans and miserable dreams has crashed, and they could not go forward one inch towards its borders, thanks to the belief and faith of its brave sons who were inspired by the patience of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and the courage of his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

This statement was the one of the direct supervisor of the combat squad of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), the board member of the holy shrine; Mr. Maytham Al-Zaydi during a press conference that was held at the headquarters of the squad, which was covered by different media and was attended by different figures who represented the city of Amerly. This initiative included three paragraphs that the combat squad of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) has been commissioned to their implementation, and which are as follows:

1- The formation of a military brigade from the citizens of the city under the name "Brigade of the steadfast Amerly" that will be one of the teams of the combat squad of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him). Stating: "We have built a training camp for the fighters, and we have sent a force of 500 fighters, and the reinforcements are continuously sent to them in order to create an integrated fighting force from the citizens of Amerly, to ensure to not repeat what happened previously, and also as a step to its self sufficiency in terms of security and service, in addition to the establishment of a military airport to be as a nucleus for the liberation of the rest of usurped areas.

2- The work on the afforestation of the streets, main entrances and squares of city of Amerly, so as to beautify this city. The holy shrine has commissioned the Afforestation Division of its Department of service affairs for the purpose of preparing a plan and study in order to start the works as soon as possible.

3- The project to rebuild the city of Amerly is under the auspices of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine by putting pressure on the services and governmental ministries to contribute to this initiative and to accelerate the implementation of a comprehensive plan to save this city from the experienced deteriorating services, as well as to work to find quick solutions and call the civil organizations and entrepreneurs from the private sector, traders and affluent to contribute into this campaign. And, it is noteworthy that the goal of this initiative is to support cities, state efforts and the popular mobilization at this difficult stage, working on the non-recurrence of what happened on the city of Amerly and reaching self-sufficiency in terms of security and service.
