The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine holds its annual condolence Council on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him)

The Courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) witnessed the establishment of the annual mourning Council in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him).

The organization of the council was supervised by the Public Speaking Division of the Husseini preaching at the holy shrine.

The speaker of the Council, Sheikh Rashad al-Ansari, said that "the council is held for three days after the Maghrib prayer in the presence of a gathering of visitors to the courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas's (peace be upon him), to extend condolence in commemoration fo the martyrdom anniversary of the beloved grandson of the noble Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household); Imam al-Hassan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him)".

"In the lecture, we discussed various aspects of the biography of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) and his sacrifice for the sake of religion, as well as the qualities of his character of generosity, asceticism and patience, and the oppression suffered by Imam (peace be upon him),"he added.

"The council concluded with the reading of Lamentations and sad poems about the misfortune of the martyrdom of the Imam (peace be upon him), which left great sadness and pain, amid an atmosphere of sadness that overshadowed those present, "Al-Ansari continued.

The Al-Abbas's (p) shrine has always continued its spiritual role in the holy city of Karbala and beyond, by preparing a special condolence and service program to commemorate the occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and to remind of their sacrifices.
