Visitors heading to the holy city of Karbala to commemorate the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) arrived at the Souq al-Shuyukh district in Dhi Qar governorate on foot.
According to the News Center's reporter, "the visitors arrived at the Souq al-Shuyukh, which is about 330 km away from the first starting point in the Ras al-Bisha area, and they will travel an estimated distance of 340 km to reach the holy city of Karbala".
He added that"the Hussayni service processions located on both sides of the road are making great efforts to provide various services to visitors, and the people opened the doors of their homes in the city, to get the honor of serving visitors".
The visitors recalled the martyrdom of Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him) and his auspicious biography in the mourning councils, and their participation in the procession of the symbolic coffin, extending condolences to the Master of the Order and Time; Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance).
The province of Dhi Qar is the second city that visitors enter after starting from Basra in the far south of Iraq, and after these two provinces, the people of the southern and central provinces will join them, respectively, to participate in the commemoration of the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
