The procession of the servants of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al Hassan (peace be upon him) on the seventh of the month of Safar.
The head of the Religious Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sheikh Salah al-Karbalai, said that "the servants of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) on the seventh day of the month of Safar, through a unified condolence procession.
"The procession started from the sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon him), after that his servants lined up in groups, to head towards the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) passing through the square between the Two Holy Shrines, to extend condolences on the martyrdom anniversary of their brother Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him),"he added.
He continued that"the servants of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy shrine received the servants of the al-Abbas's (p) Shrine upon the arrival of the procession to the shrine of the Master of martyrs (peace be upon him), and a condolence council was held in the courtyard of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine, as well as reciting condolence poems with the participation of visitors.
The servants of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon them) at the two holy shrines is keen to commemorate the occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), especially their martyrdom anniversaries, by organizing condolence councils and various religious events to highlight their blessed biography.
