Crowds of visitors walking towards the Holy Karbala to commemorate the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), arrived in the center of the city of Nasiriyah.
"The visitors arrived at the center of Nasiriyah, covering a distance of (320 km) from the first starting point in the Ras al-Bisha area, and they will travel an estimated distance of (310 km) to reach the holy city of Karbala,"said the News Center reporter.
He added that "the hussayni processions scattered on both sides of the road are making efforts to provide services to visitors and provide them with amenities, and the people opened the doors of their homes, exerting their energies to honor the service of visitors".
For his part, Sayed Ali al-Asadi, one of the owners of the processions in the city of Nasiriyah, said that "the numbers of visitors are constantly increasing, and we are making efforts to provide various services from food and drink, in addition to medical services, as well as opening the doors of houses, mosques and husseiniyats to them, taking into account the high temperatures".
In the same context, the visitor Abdullah Najm from Basra province said that "the number of visitors is rising every day, as the visitors of each district join after the completion of providing their services to visitors to walk towards the city of Karbala".
The city of Nasiriyah is the second city that visitors enter after starting from Basra, the southernmost point in Iraq, and then the people of the southern and central provinces join them, respectively, to participate in the commemoration of the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
