His Eminence, the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, conducted a new field tour of the Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas's (P) complex to serve visitors, to find out the latest preparations for Ziyarat Arba'een.
During his tour of the corridors of the complex located on the Najaf – Karbala road, Sayed al-Safi was accompanied by the secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, a number of members of its board of directors and officials, and a group of Engineers of the Projects Department.
A member of the board of Directors of the holy shrine and responsible for the complex; Mr. Jawad al-Hasnawi, said that "the visit of His Eminence the Senior Official to the Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas complex (peace be upon him) to serve visitors, came to find out about its latest preparations of Ziyarat Arba'een and receive visitors, arriving from inside and outside Iraq on foot to participate in the Ziyarat."
"The staff of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine has completed many of the complex's facilities recently, with an expansion process that included the addition of new halls and various service joints, to accommodate as many visitors as possible,"he added.
It is hoped that the complex will provide its services to visitors in the coming days, according to al-Hasnawi, pointing out that the complex contains two sections, one for men and another for women, equipped with everything visitors need, in addition to allocating a building for medicine, which includes a health center that includes a number of emergency lobbies and pharmacies.
The total area of the complex in the men's and women's sections is 15 dunums, distributed over the central halls with 15,000 square meters and 600 meters for the health center, while the bathroom groups occupied an area of 2,000 square meters.
The Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine has mobilized the efforts of its staff and all its departments, and has developed integrated plans earlier, in preparation for providing services to the visitors of the Arbaeen of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
