Maintaining Order Department completes its security and organizational preparations for the Ziyarat Arba'een

The Department of Maintaining Order at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the completion of all security and organizational preparations for the reception of visitors arriving to commemorate the Ziyarat Arba'een.

The assistant head of the Department; Sayed Haidar al-Mousawi, said that"the Department's staff has completed all preparations for Ziyarat Arba'een, and securing the roads leading to the Shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon him), using advanced and specialized equipment in this field".

He added that"the department, as part of its plan, began inspecting visitors' bags and their belongings at the main inspection points, at the beginning of the streets leading to the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, using explosives detectors and sonar devices (rypscan), and facilitating the smooth passage of convoys, ambulance, fire, service and dedicated vehicles".

"Our staff will work to facilitate the entry and exit of the mourning processions at the gates of the holy shrine," al-Mousawi added, noting that "the Department's employees were provided with courses in first aid and civil defense to avoid any emergency that may occur during the Ziyarat."
