The Road to Heaven: Visitors walking to Karbala enter Muthanna governorate

Visitors heading to the holy city of Karbala to commemorate the Ziyarat Arba'een of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) have entered al-Daraji, the First District of Muthanna governorate.

"The visitors arrived at the al-Daraji district center of the al-Khedr district in Muthanna governorate, covering a distance of (367 km) from the first starting point in Ras al-Bisha area, and they will travel an estimated distance of (265 km) to reach the holy city of Karbala,"the News Center's delegate said.

He added that "the hussayni processions scattered on both sides of the road received visitors with services and provided them with amenities, and the people opened the doors of their homes, to get the honor of serving of visitors".

Muthanna is the third province that visitors enter after starting from Basra, the southernmost point in Iraq, and then the people of the central provinces join them successively, to participate in the commemoration of the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
