Engineer Mohammad Jassim, the official of the desalination and cooling unit of the General Maintenance Division at the Department, said,"the unit is pumping water through three stations distributed between the Two Holy Shrines and for various uses, including one for drinking, another for ablution and the third for spray fans."
He added that "our staff pumps filtered water (RO) to the drinking water outlets located in a square between the Two Holy Shrines after desalinating the water coming from the liquefaction stations and filtering it by (400) thousand liters per day".
He pointed out that"spray fans deployed in the yard between the two shrines and inside the covered areas, which contribute to tempering the atmosphere, by (400) thousand liters of filtered water (RO) per day."
"As for the water intended for ablution, the unit pumps (160) thousand liters of water per day,"said Jassim.
