The Media Committee of the Al-'Ameed Second International Scientific Conference held its first meeting to allocate the tasks to its members..

The preparations for the establishment of the Al-'Ameed Second International Scientific Conference began commensurate with the status of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the objectives set up for it. And, in this context, the Media Committee of the conference has held an expanded meeting, in which a number of media issues that will accompany the conference were discussed, and the committee in charge has allocated the tasks among its members in order to facilitate the cooperation among the members.

A Media road map was set up for the conference that will be held for the duration of (9-11 October 2014) and under the slogan: (meeting at the Dean "Al-'Ameed" so we live up) and entitled: (The management of term's crisis from the dispute to the difference). The Supreme Committee supervising it, has deployed all efforts and means in order to deliver the message of this cultural and intellectual event and to highlight this conference as commensurate with its temporal importance; as it is held in a time in which the country is defending its land and sanctities against the Takfiri gangs and terrorism, and its spacial importance as it is launched from a holy place and honoured sanctuary, the one of Abu Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in the holy city of Karbala. During this meeting, the members have exchanged some perceptions and suggestions for the organization mechanism of the Committee during the conference's days.

The participants have discussed many issues that the Media Committee can carry out before and during the conference regarding the podium facilities, publications, brochures and invitations, and communicating with satellite channels, newspapers and websites, it has also decided to prepare daily newsletter for all the conference events through two united websites that will contain all the activities and images, and they are the official website of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine (www.alkafeel.net) and the website of Al-Ameed magazine (www.alkafeel.net/alameed).

It is to mention that the objectives of the Conference are:
1 - To seek to identify controls to standardize the terminology and the approach of its connotation.
2 - To emphasize the role of the Islamic heritage in the production of the term.
3 - To create the awareness of the terms that contributes to the consolidation of a common scientific language.
4 - To benefit from the dialogue of civilizations to find terms that have a universal character.

Themes of the conference:
First: The Quranic and religious term.
Second: The lingual and literary term.
Third: The social and philosophical term.
Fourth: The historical, geographical and educational term.

It is worth noting that Al-'Ameed Magazine is a detailed magazine that deals with studies of human sciences, that is issued and published by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the purpose of scientific upgrade, and has the international number ISIN: (ISSN: 2227-0346), in 13/3/2013.

The magazine is running with the special topic system for each edition, to issue five numbers annually, four quarterly and the fifth annually. In fact, the magazine seeks to attract local, Arab and international academic pens, each according to his competence to provide scientific research as diverse as human disciplines in both Arabic and English.
