The streets of the Hindiya district southeast of the Holy Karbala were crowded with the walking visitors coming to commemorate the Arba'een of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
The delegation of the News Center said that the people of the Dsitrict were honored to serve visitors and 13 days of serving the visitors did not stopp them. The walking visitors came namely from two axes, namely the governorates of Babylon and Najaf,"he said.
He added that the city connects the central and southern provinces through its bridges to the holy city of Karbala, which makes millions of visitors pass through the city, where every house turns into a Hussaini procession that embraces dozens of visitors to the holy city of Karbala.
The district is located 20 kilometers from the center of the holy city of Karbala, and 600 kilometers from the first starting point in Ras al-Bisha in Basra governorate, and is the last stop for visitors before reaching the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them).
