Sprinklers in the area between the two shrines contribute to cooling the temperatures

According to the Department between the Two Holy Shrines in the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, the sprinklers deployed in the area between the Two Holy Shrines contributed to lowering temperatures to cool the atmosphere for visitors performing the Ziyarat Arba'een.

The official of the Cooling Unit in the Department; Engineer Mohammed Jassim, said that "the Department, under the guidance of the general secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine, has taken appropriate measures to reduce the rise in temperatures and cool the atmosphere for visitors of Arba'een, where our staff has been working to deploy sprinklers in the area between the Two Holy Shrines, since the beginning of the holy month of Muharram".

He added that" sprinklers were distributed in more than 20 lines with about (400 nozzles) in the area between the Two Holy Shrines, to contribute to reducing about (10) degrees Celsius, "pointing to the"provision of water tanks with a capacity of 30 thousand liters and four (pumps) to raise the pressure, with a capacity of 21 liters per minute."

Jassim continued that "the desalination plant in the maintenance division of the department supplies the spray system with filtered water, and works to provide potable RO water to the reservoirs scattered near the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), to serve visitors during the Blessed Ziyarat of Arba'een".
