The Division of Women's Religious Guidance commemorates the Arba'een of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)

The Division of Women's Religious Guidance held a condolence Council at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in commemoration of the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

The official of the Division; Mrs. Adhra al-Shami, said that "the Council began with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran, after which the Ziyarat Arba'een and the Ziyarat of Aba al-Fadl (peace be upon him) were read, in addition to explaining excerpts from the sermon of Imam Zayn al-Abideen (peace be upon him) and the sermon of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) in the Levant".

She added,"the council included reciting lamentations and poems extending condolences to Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), recalling the painful events in the process of captivity, after which the council concluded by reading the Dua al-Faraj to hasten the holy reappearance of the Master of the Order; Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah Almighty hasten his holy reappearance)".

The Religious Guidance Division continues to revive the Blessed ritual, recalling the heroic role of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), who was the best woman who embodied all the meanings of Islamic chastity, and calling for following her example in her chastity, patience and taking responsibility, such as raising children properly, preserving the family and spreading religious awareness among members of society, according to al-Shami.
