Media Department: Ziyarat by Proxy for the Arba'een was performed for more than 69.000 visitors

The Media Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the performance of the special Ziyarat Arba'een was performed on behalf of more than (69) thousand visitors.

The official of the information technology and networks division of the Department; Sayed Haydar Taleb Abdul Amir, said that " The Ziyarat by proxy for the Arba'een was performed for 69.271 visitors, through its page on the Al-Kafeel Global Network (the official website of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine), and through its (Arabic – English - Persian – Turkish - Urdu – French – Swahili and German) sites, as well as its social networking sites.

He added,"A group fo sayed servants working at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine was honored to perform the Ziyarat at the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), and included reading the Ziyarat and performing two Rak'ahs in addition to praying for all registered who were unable to come to perform the ceremonies of this Ziyarat."

He explained that "the majority of registrants were from the following countries: (Iran, Lebanon, Pakistan, Russia, USA, UK, India, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Canada, Kuwait, Malaysia, Australia, Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Germany, Iceland, Austria, Greece, Netherlands, Tunisia, Denmark, Norway, Qatar, Belgium, Morocco, Afghanistan, Oman, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, Switzerland, Nigeria, Ghana, Yemen, Indonesia, Italy, Spain, France, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Finland, China, Ireland, Hong Kong, Japan, UAE, Sudan) in addition to other countries".

"Preparations are currently underway to launch an expanded campaign to perform the Ziyarat by proxy on the martyrdom anniversary of the Great Prophet Mohammad (Alla's prayers be uåon him and upoin his holy Household) on the 28th of Safar through the same page of the Al-Kafeel Network,"Abdul Amir continued.
