An Ethiopian delegation praised the efforts of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and the intellectual, cultural and humanitarian projects and programs it provides on the African continent, during the visit of a delegation of followers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt(peace be upon them) from Ethiopia to the African Studies Center of the Department.
The director of the center, Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said that" the delegation from Ethiopia was represented by Sheikh Said Ibrahim, Dr. Taher Mohammed and a group of followers and lovers of Ahl Al-Bayt(peace be upon them), where they were briefed on the center's plan to spread the thought and approach of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and humanitarian programs on the African continent, "pointing out that"the delegation praised the efforts of the holy shrine in the continent of Africa."
He added, "Sheikh Said Ibrahim is one of the first people who converted to the true Islam in the state of Ethiopia, and he had a great impact in spreading the thought of Ahl al-Bayt(peace be upon them) there more than (50) years, and many Africans on the continent have been taught by him, according to the principles of the authentic Mohammadian religion."
Al-Shammari explained that"the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is working through the Center for African Studies and its representatives in more than 20 countries to raise awareness of the Society of the principles of the authentic Islamic religion, and the implementation of a set of communication, intellectual and humanitarian programs."
