Karbala: The condolence processions recall the martyrdom anniversary of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household)

The condolence processions in the holy city of Karbala commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) through condolence processions that roamed the streets of the city.

Mr. Zaher Musa Khalil, from one of the processions, said that"the people of Karbala came out to offer condolences to Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) on the martyrdom anniversary of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), on the twenty-eighth of the month of Safar".

"The people of Karbala are keen to commemorate and remember the occasions of the people of the House of prophecy (peace be upon him), especially this painful anniversary, which is the start of misfortunes, which is the martyrdom anniversary of the Great Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household),"he added.

The roads leading to the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) witnessed the influx of Karbala condolence processions to commemorate the sad tragedy in coordination with the Department of Hussayni Rituals, Processions and Bodies in Iraq and the Islamic world, affiliated with the general secretariats of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them).
