Since early morning, hundreds of condolence processions have flocked to the shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in Najaf to offer condolences on the sad anniversary of the martyrdom of the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him).

The condolence processions passing in the area around the holy sanctuary of the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) echoed the poems describing the tragedy of the martyrdom of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) carrying the symbolic coffin.

For their part, the service processions continue to provide various services to visitors around the clock, while the Imam Ali's (p) Holy Shrine has prepared a prior plan to organize the mechanism and timing of the entry and exit processions to ensure smooth movement in the Old City.
