The adviser to the secretary general of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Fadel Awaz, said that "the city of Karbala, especially the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them), has been receiving thousands of condolence processions since the first night of the month of Muharram, and after the end of the Ziyarat Arba'een, and today we are commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household). There were large participations of processions, including the procession of the two shrines, to offer condolences to Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) with this sad anniversary".
The procession started from inside the holy shrine of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), after his servants lined up in groups, and headed towards the shrine of the Master of martyrs Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), passing through a square between the Two Holy Shrines to extend condolences to Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), with this tragedy that befell the Islamic nation.
The procession concluded its march in the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy courtyard with the establishment of a mourning Council, with the participation of employees of the two holy shrines and a gathering of visitors, in which elegies and lamentations were delivered that simulate the impact of this misfortune on the hearts of Muslims and believers.
The servants of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) in Holy Karbala comes out with special condolence processions, on the martyrdom anniversaries of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) throughout the year.
