At the Al-Kafeel Hospital: Surgical intervention ends the suffering of a woman with severe knee osteoarthitis

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital in Karbala has successfully performed a surgical intervention that ended the suffering of a woman with severe knee osteoarthitis.

Dr. Ahmad Suleiman, a Lebanese orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist at the hospital, said that"a medical team from Lebanon was able to perform a successful operation using modern techniques that ended the suffering of a woman in her sixth decade suffering from severe knee osteoarthitis, which caused her great problems and pain."

"The medical team conducted the necessary tests, through which they performed a complete replacement of the patient's knee joint, who lost the ability to walk,"he added.

Suleiman continued that "the operation was performed with modern technology by a small wound in the joint, without the need to cut the muscle, which reduced its risks and increased the speed of recovery of the patient with the ability to walk faster, "stressing" the stabilization of her health status and leaving the hospital after gaining full recovery."
