The Department of Religious Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has started implementing its plan to commemorate the events of the month of Rabi' Awal.
The administrative assistant to the head of the Department; Sayed. Anwar Sabah al-Harbi, said that "since the first days of the month of Rabi' Awal, the department has begun to implement the plan prepared by it to commemorate the days of this month, after the end of the season of Sorrows of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), as it included several religious, guidance and other events".
He added that"our staff has set up special Husseini minbars for preaching and guidance lectures, inside the courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon him) for distinguished visitors daily before the Dhohr and Asr prayers and after the Maghreb and Isha prayers, in addition to the area between the two Shrines after the evening prayer on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays every week".
He added that "the department has added a number of sheikhs in the holy shrine and the Iwans scattered inside the shrine, with 6 places and the Maqam of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance), to receive visitors and to answer their queries and religious questions, as well as to start establishing doctrinal Fiqh courses for employees of the holy shrine, and conduct religious tests for new employees".
