The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine organizes the central celebration of the birth anniversaries of the Holy Prophet and Imam as-Sadeq (may Allah's prayers be upon them)

The general secretariat of the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine organized the central annual celebration of the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and his grandson Imam as-Sadeq (May the best prayers be upon him).

The ceremony was attended by the secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine; Sayed. Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin, the director of the Office of the Senior Official of the holy shrine; Dr. Afdhal al-Shami, a number of employees of the holy shrine's Board of directors and heads of its departments, many official and social figures, and a large gathering of visitors.

The head of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department at the holy shrine; Sayed Aqeel al-Yasiri, said that "the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine organized the central annual celebration of the auspicious birth anniversary of the Great Prophet Mohammad(Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and his grandson Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him), at the Qibla Gate of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), in the presence of a large gathering of the servants of the holy shrine and visitors."

He added,"the celebration began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran of the reader of the two holy shrines; Sayed Haydar Gelokhan, followed by the speech of the general secretariat of the holy shrine, to then a group of poets ascended the celebration platform to recite poems and anthems about this auspicious memory and recall these two great personalities, as well as the publication of decorations and the distribution of sweets and gifts."

Al-Yasiri explained that"the celebration is also held in the Courtyard of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and the Maqam of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance), and concludes its activities by conducting an inspection tour of the nursing homes in the holy city of Karbala, to provide gifts and blessings to its residents."
