The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine witnesses the graduation of a new batch of Iraqi Police College officers

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine witnessed today, Friday, the graduation ceremonies of a new batch of officers of the Iraqi Police College/ Higher Institute for Security and Administrative Development.

Mr. Ahmed Zuhair al-Mayali from the Internal Relations and Coordination Division of the Public Relations Department at the holy shrine said,"under the guidance of His Eminence the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine Sayed Ahmad al-Safi and the Secretary General Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia'-Uddin, the department received a group of officers of the Iraqi Police College/ Higher Institute, course 28".

He added that"the graduation ceremonies included swearing allegiance, in the presence of a large number of their families and distinguished visitors to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl(peace be upon him), a tradition that has been practiced by most graduates of military colleges in Iraq".

According to Al-Mayali, "thousands of graduates of Iraqi universities and military colleges of various types and specialties annually take the graduation oath at the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them)".

The commander of the second company at the 28th Session/ Higher Institute for Security and Administrative Development, Major Ahmed Salah Mahdi, said, "today we are in the hospitality of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon them), to be inspired by lessons and patience, as they are the starting point for fulfillment and redemption," pointing out that "the officers of the course are from all provinces of Iraq and of various sects, and this is proof that the Holy Karbala brings together all spectrums of the Iraqi people."
