The Department of Hussayni rituals, processions and bodies in Iraq and the Islamic world of the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them) has held on Tuesday the 26th of Dhu Al-Hijjah 1435 AH corresponding to the 21st of October 2014, at the Hall of Seal of Prophets (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household) at the Imam Al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine, a conference to discuss the organizational, service and security aspects of the coming Zyarat of the sacred month of Muharram 1436 AH.

The conference was attended by the Chairman of the Council of the province of Karbala, its Governor, its police chief and a number of head of service departments, in addition to a number of officials of Hussayni processions and bodies in the holy city of Karbala.

It started by the recitation of verses of the holy Quran by the reader Muhsin Al-Hakeem, followed by the word of the General-Secretariats of both holy shrines submitted by the Deputy Secretary-General of the Imam Al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrines; Sayed. Afdal Al-Shami, in which he stated: "We meet at this conference in order to engage a dialogue to establish the Hussayni rituals in the first ten days of the sacred month of Muharram, and to show it the world in the best possible way, and this is possible only with combining and unifying all efforts..."

Then, came the word of the governor of Karbala; Mr.'Aqeel Al-Turayhi, in which he asserted: "we must make sure to convey the Hussayni message embodied in the true values, coexistence, peace and love among all human beings." Stressing on the media to contribute in the convey of the rituals of the sacred Muharram by making every effort to show the bright image of the Hussayni revolution and its goals...

Followed by the word of the Chairman of the Council of the province of Karbala; Mr. Nasseef Al-Khattabi, in which he explained that there will be a number of Departments' conferences of the province of Karbala, in order to prepare a suitable plan for the Zyarat of the tenth of Muharram and that take into consideration that current situation faced by the country. Without forgetting to thank the owners of Hussaynyat and Hussayni processions and bodies for welcoming their brethren who have been displaced because of the terrorist operations, which may affect the reception of visitors during the next months of Muharram and Safar, so the local government intends to find quick solutions to this matter, through the establishment of the displaced camp..."

During this conference, there was also a discussion of a number of issues related to the Zyarat of Ashura, and officials have answered audience questions, which were asked by a number of owners of Hussayni processions and bodies, to find some solutions and proposals that have been agreed upon in order to implement them within the security plan of the Zyarat this year.
