The funerary processions of Ashura began arriving to the Holy Shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them)..

On the mourning of the first of Muharram 1436 AH, the funerary processions of Ashura began arriving to the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Al-Abbas (peace be upon them), according to a schedule and place program developed by the department of Hussayni bodies and processions that belongs to both holy shrines, to ensure the non-intersection and the smooth flow of their movement. All the potential of the cited departments has been harnessed to prepare and create a special funerary atmosphere for both visitors and processions, according a specific security and service plan.

During these days, a cloud of sadness and soreness pass on the city of Karbala, which declares mourning in the beginning of Muharram, to recall the painful tragedy that befell on Imam Al-Hussayn, his family and his companions (peace be upon them all) on this holy land, commemorating the epic of the master of martyrs (peace be upon him) by all its tragic details that remain throughout the humanity's history an unparalleled advent in the whole universe.

It is to mention that the momentum of the Hussayni processions and their increasing number year after year, is only further proof that Imam Al-Hussayn's (p) revolution and his reformist renaissance is continuously illuminating the paths of the Free, and by cheering "Ya Hussayn" the light of truth can never be covered by the darkness of tyranny ... Karbala then start reviving the sacred Hussayni rituals to contribute to support and to respond to the everlasting call of the oppressed Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) who has given all he has in defence of the right and the freedom.
