The Institute of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine holds "As-Saqi session" in the art of the Adhaan..

Knowing the need of supplementing the community with competent Mu'adhen who have beautiful voices that bring comfort and reassurance to the hearts of believers, the Institute of the Holy Quran belonging to the department of the intellectual and cultural affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held a session in learning the art of Adhaan titled: "As-Saqi session".

Al-Kafeel Network met the lecturer and supervisor of the session, the reader and Mu'adhen of both holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them); Sayed. Mustapha Al-Ghalibi who stated: "Given of the great importance of Adhaan and in order to upgrade qualified Mu'adhen, we decided to establish a session in learning the art of Adhaan, especially that the Adhaan is a call of the prayers' time, so it should be attractive an endearing to all people who are busy with burdens of life, as a result of the right interaction of the Mu'adhen with the Adhaan, it will have an impact in attracting souls to praying."

He added: "This session has seen a high turnout by the faithful eager to learn Adhaan, the number of registered exceeded 100 students, as due to this large number, we decided to divide them into groups of 20 students, with a session of 10 days each."

Noting: "This session is based on three axes: The first axis is the Adhaan, how to make it, its history, its benefits and its Mustahabb actions, the second axis is the eloquence with which the Adhaan must be performed in a linguistic point of view, the third axis is about the different known intonations to perform the Adhaan, and God willing, we aspire the graduation of good Mu'adhen from this session, who are eager to perform Adhaan in the best way."
