The Department of Intellectual Affairs briefed the Nigerian delegation on its work and programs in the African continent

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine briefed a delegation from the state of Nigeria on its work and programs on the African continent.

This came during the reception of the director of the African Studies Center of the Department, Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, a delegation from Soli Lamido University in Jigawa State, Nigeria, headed by Dr. Mohammed II, a lecturer at the University.

Sheikh al-Shammari gave an overview of the Department's work in the African continent and the implementation of religious, intellectual and humanitarian programs, in addition to sponsoring dozens of community programs in many African countries.

He explained the keenness of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the follow-up of its Senior Official; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, to the projects implemented in the African continent, to build bridges of communication with African communities and to demonstrate the features of authentic Mohammadian Islam.

For his part, the delegation appreciated the warm reception and the great intellectual and humanitarian care carried out by the holy shrine represented by the Center for African Studies, which contributes to the spread and consolidation of Islam.
