Kafeel University discusses ways of joint cooperation with Tehran University

Al-Kafeel university, affiliated to the Higher Education Authority in the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, discussed ways of joint cooperation in scientific fields with the University of Tehran.

This came through the visit of the delegation of the Al-Kafeel University, represented by the University Research Center for medical and pharmaceutical sciences, to the International Institute "IBB" for biochemistry and biophysics research at the University of Tehran, and the delegation was received by the dean of the Institute; Prof. Dr. Ali Akbar Mohadi, and a number of members of the scientific body.

The delegation discussed ways of joint cooperation in scientific and research fields, the exchange of technologies and experiences between the two sides, in addition to reviewing the scientific departments and their research laboratories.

The IBB Institute includes three scientific departments (Biochemistry, Biophysics, bioinformatics), and is one of the important research centers for its national and international research activities, as well as being affiliated with the World Academy of Sciences "TWAS", and holds the UNESCO chair for interdisciplinary research in diabetes "UCIRD", and a member of the International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology "IUBMB".
