The Occupational Safety Division of the Council of ministers confirms that the Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine and its institutions apply occupational safety standards perfectly

The official of the Occupational Safety and Health Division at the general secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Omar Kamel Karim, confirmed that the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine and its institutions apply occupational safety standards perfectly.

This came during his attendance at the Occupational Safety Workshop held by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for independent bodies and formations not affiliated with the ministry, which was organized on its first day at the Al-Ameed University and concluded on the second day at the Al-Ameed educational group.

Karim said that "the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine and its institutions apply occupational safety standards perfectly, by adhering to international standards such as ISO 45001, which represents the utmost institutional care in preserving lives and property, pointing to the desire of the division to transfer the experience of the Holy Shrine in this field to other ministries and the rest of the governorates and independent bodies, in order to enhance safety".

He added,"We came to the province of Karbala by a kind invitation from the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, together with the bodies not associated with the ministry, which numbered about (40) bodies, to participate in the Occupational Safety Workshop, the first day of which included the explanation of the international standard 45001, while the second day dealt with the application of the special risk form to all ministries, governorates and independent bodies".

"Attention to this issue comes to prevent the recurrence of fire incidents that occur in the country, and in order to identify, treat, get rid of potential risks and avoid their occurrence,"Karim said.
