A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital has successfully performed a complex operation on a patient suffering from middle ear problems and a fleshy bump.

The specialist of ear, nose and throat surgery, Dr. Hisham Moussawi, said that "a medical team from Lebanon successfully performed a complex operation that ended the suffering of a patient in the fourth decade, suffering from problems in the middle ear and the fleshy protrusion caused her a large hole in the eardrum and loss of hearing ability."

He added that" the operation witnessed the cleaning of the fleshy protrusion and the middle ear completely, removing impurities and tissues that prevent the movement of the auditory ossicles with grafting the tympanic membrane with a special membrane, "stressing that"the hospital has advanced technologies that enable this type of delicate operations."
