At the Al-Kafeel Hospital.. A successful operation saves a patient from the risk of quadriplegia

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital conducted a successful operation that saved a patient from the risk of quadriplegia.

A specialist in neurosurgery at the hospital, Dr. Khalid al-Sarraj, said that " an Iraqi medical team succeeded in performing surgery on a patient in the fourth decade suffering from multiple dislocations of the cervical vertebrae that caused her weakness in the upper and lower extremities," noting that she was at risk of quadriplegia because the pressure was severe on the spinal cord.

He added, "We were able to lift the pressure slides on the spinal cord completely, without any health complications, as the patient left in good health, "pointing out that"the modern techniques provided by the hospital and the experience of the Iraqi medical team contributed to the success of the surgical operation."

The specialized medical teams at Al-Kafeel hospital continue to perform various successful operations for patients, using the latest advanced medical technologies, which help the patient to gain recovery in record time after the operation.
