The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine discussed with the Safeenat al-Najat association, school and Mosque in the state of Tanzania ways of joint cooperation.
The director of the Center for African Studies, affiliated with the Department, Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said that "the center's delegation in Tanzania visited the Safeenat al-Najat charity association, met with its director and a number of officials, and discussed the Quranic, doctrinal and jurisprudence programs implemented in the city of Dar as-Salaam".
He added,"the delegation conducted another visit to the Safeenat al-Najat school and Mosque, met with the scholars and staff working there, reviewed the various reporting programs, and discussed with the administration of the Association, which provides religious education to about (100) students ways of joint cooperation in order to overcome problems and obstacles in this area."
He pointed out that"the courses and lessons offered by the association specialize in the Holy Quran, beliefs, jurisprudence, history, in addition to special lectures for mothers".
In turn, the staff of the Association praised the efforts exerted by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in supporting the African community in general and the Tanzanian in particular, through the provision of religious and preaching intellectual programs, in addition to its humanitarian programs on the African continent.
