A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital has successfully performed a complex operation on a patient suffering from spinal canal stenosis starting from the second lumbar vertebra to the first sacral vertebra with chronic health problems.

A specialist in neurosurgery at the hospital, Dr. Hossam al-Anbari, " a seventy-year-old patient we received who suffers from a narrowing of the spinal canal starting from the second lumbar vertebra to the first sacral vertebra and also suffers from chronic health problems such as high blood pressure and diabetes with severe renal impairment, which prevented the operation under general anesthesia to avoid health complications."

Al-Anbari added that" the operation was performed in record time and under semi-anesthesia, through which the patient's stenosis was expanded and he left the hospital with good health, "pointing out that "the capabilities available at the hospital made us have many options to perform various advanced operations."
