The staff of the Engineering Projects Department at the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine continues its work to complete the building of the Al-Kafeel Museum of treasures and manuscripts on Bab Qibla Street, the shrine of Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
The head of the Engineering Projects Department, engineer Dia al-Sa'egh, said, " under the direct guidance of His Eminence the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, the vision was to launch the project of expanding the buildings surrounding the holy shrine of Qamar Bani Hashim (peace be upon him), starting from the museum building, which consists of six floors, and at the end of a lighthouse about 80 meters long," adding that "the percentage of completion in the excavation and pouring of the foundation pillars of the museum building project reached more than 75%".
"The building will be in a distinguished architectural style within the beginning of the expansion project, which will provide important service facilities for visitors to the holy city of Karbala, while preserving the Karbala heritage in most of its details,"al-Sa'egh explained.
